Hey BB Backer,

Yes, there are a number of things that the show ring doesn't like about my working dogs. Weight is the biggest, but I show them at pretty much the weight I run them at. I don't think it is fair to the dog for their weight to bounce all over the place.
Judges also often think my dogs are too long of leg, don't carry enough coat, and 'slight of bone', but it is a matter of educating them on what it really takes for a dog to travel long distances at moderate speed, as our standard requests.

As for the Snickers pendants, yes there are still some available. Check out Dona Miller's Sibernyte Design website at http://sibernytedesigns.com/

Thanks for asking!

Goodness Karen, that's a generous offer and I will take you up on it when summer comes around.

Karen...

What was the strangest, most unusual comfort Item in your sled bag this year?

Actually, there wasn't alot of 'comfort' items in my sled this year. Snickers ashes was pretty much the only 'extra' thing I packed down the trail this year.

Karen,

Thanks so much for visiting our forum. It's a great honor. Here are a couple of questions for you: Why did you decide to race only Siberians, and what are the main differences between Siberians and Alaskan huskies?

I've got a couple of questions... :)

What's your all-time favorite iditarod checkpoint and why? Which one was your favorite this year and why?

If you could choose 5 "extra" (anything from the mundane to the ridiculous) things you would like a checkpoint to have, what would they be?
