with the deep snow this year . What pos. are you hoping to draw?

We drew number 55. I wanted to go out late so it works out good. The banquet was really short this year. All over by 8pm. Mushers weren't allowed to talk on stage, only to say their number. The first banquet I've been at where at the end everyone stayed to hang out and chat.

Have a great race Hugh and thanks for the 'banquet report'! We were all wishing it had been streamed live, but if the mushers didn't speak I guess we really didn't miss anything - other than the sounds of people eating!

Hugh- Congrats on your finish!! Special thanks to Tamra for being on the BSSD chat and keeping us posted on you. I think you made the right decison for you and your dogs to go back to shelter. I respect you for thinking of your dogs and their safety.

Tamra has been your voice to the outside world, and now it is time for you 2 to have a private re-connect. i hope you stay for the banquet. so many hard times this year, we need to hear < how bad was it for you> in the first person.
