Recap of Topcock Hills Storm

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Yup, it sure is. If she won't go back on the sled, she can go as a reporter :-)

ESPN on the Topkok incident ( Watkins and Thiart) We know Bridgett will be back. If anyone wondered whether she had the fire in her belly ? Pfft. The answer is yes. Bet your bucket that I'm admiring her grit. She's gonna have that belt buckle.

Wow both of these articles show how bad and dangerous it was in the Topcock Hills. Thanks to Alphashe and Breeze for posting these stories here. Great readings, scary, scary stuff!

I picked Bridget for my ROTY just because of the moose incident and learning who her Dad and step Mom are. Not sorry I did either, even tho she wouldn't have won the ROTY prize.
