"Furthest to 24" Contest...WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Congratulations, Frozen...on the win and the lovely family. Is that Mrs. Frozen behind the camera? Would any dogs be seen in a Frozen Family Foto?

Sorry, I don't have a ponytail, but my oldest son has a short one himself (forget what you call those that flow out like a pigtail at the bottom back of the hair?). Anyway, we're here just about 200 yards from the Burled Arch waiting for GoLanceGo ourselves!!
