OT Spring 2010

Postby emwcee » Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:03 pm

I know it's not officialy spring yet, but this didn't seem to fit in the winter thread. We were talking in the chatroom today about spring flowers and I said ours weren't up yet. But after the ceremonial start I decided to go out and enjoy the 57-degree weather. The first place I headed was the spot on the university campus where the snowdrops come up. Sure enough. I found them! I've never been so happy to see the snowdrops. They usually come up at the end of February this year, but I didn't even try in February, since we were still buried in snow. But once it warmed up, it didn't take long for those beautiful little white flowers to spring up. Winter's reign is finished!
