Student Broadcasting Team

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Hey everyone---this is Mia, one of the moderators from the Student Broadcasting team here in Alaska. I'm one of the people who will be covering part of the Iditarod. Anyway, I'm just saying hi and welcome to the forum. I hope you guys enjoy everything we put on here! :D

Mia!!!...

Tell your classmates how much we really DO appreciate this. You all up there get all the fun...I would venture to say most of us remember you from last year and the year before that... ;) How many years have you been involved in this project?

I KNOW I can speak for this group to say how much we enjoyed your videos and "live chat" last year...

I have seen pictures from the village you live in. Here is a picture from My "village"...do you like Ketchup (catsup)? :D

Again, thanks...we were almost homeless,

Now, where is the best place to give feedback? By posting on this forum? Or another part of the site? And do you still want postcards? Or does that come after the red lantern?

This forum will be the best place for feedback, suggestions, and even requests for the Student Broadcasters.

Yikes! Not sure what you paid for here, as this program is OpenSource. Try this link: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Can you post the link to the page where you are trying to access the video?
