This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Sounds like a perfect hot dish. Thanks! I've got tots in the freezer!

I know it isn't Christmas time, but I'll thank you with this rendition of Garisson Kiellor's Lutheran Potluck Song: (sung to Hark! The Herald Angels)

Hark! The herald angels sing
(is there a hot dish I can bring?)
Peace on earth and mercy mild
(tuna-noodles family style).
Joyful all ye nations rise...
(casseroles and shepards pies).
With angelic hosts proclaim
(This is REALLY good chow mein!)
Hark! The herald angels sing:
(Swedish meatballs! just the thing!)
