Willow - Yentna

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. thanks..they were talking about them moving and I got scared. Are the trackers already working??

I guess that the mushers that were showed doing some speed were just going back and forth in the area around the restart. We won't know until they're off if the tech works or not.

They head out of Willow at 2:00 Alaska time. That makes it 6:00 East Coast time. And snowed in is as good an excuse as any for a Monday morning at home. Can you use it where you are, Cyn?

Nah, no snow excuse for me. I am in West Texas. Currently debating on wheter to turn on my AC or not as I am sweating! It is 80 right now, and getting warmer!!!!! UGH!!

Enjoy that snow, we haven't seen any this year!
