I know they serve a purpose, in the outhouse and in the wild, but spiders absolutely creep me out. I will not be using the outhouse for the duration of the race or ever. That will be me on the groover just beyond the big snow bank behind the cabin.

MITH how could you even think of evicting them!!! they came from the breaker clan outhouse when wind breaker got a little too, well, windy!!! you cant throw them out into the cold again, they do do a good job of finding out the gossip form the trail, they keep an eye on the Breakers Bar and Grill during the summer months and the flys down.

They have been there since we took on the old place, ok they steal the odd post and you have to bribe them now and then to get info out of them on certain stats but they are part of the iditabuds now, part of the family, and besides, the big hairy one is actually quite cute with his hairy bot bell and pink dog booties! lol

Well since you put it THAT way, I guess they can stay BUT that one that is um "doing" things with the foot powder MUST go to rehab and if you could PLEASE find me a bucket I will not evict them...if only for the tail gossip they begrudgingly give us I do beg to differ though, that big hairy one is NOT cute even with pink booties, but they can stay but I will NOT be using the outhouse either, so better stock up on buckets for us gals that are grossed out over spiders a nice plastic seat would be nice for the top too, if you don't mind, we can keep in in the BB@G to stay warm inbetween Spider Humph, can't believe I let you keep them. Many mushers take 8h in Tanana. Thomas Wærner was in Tanana 6h ago according to Elkonors FB site, but on the Standing list, he is still on his way from Manley Hot Springs...

How long has it been since we've gone this far into the race with no scratches? I'm sure an amazing trail has a lot to do with it, but certainly a lot of mushers are doing a super job on the trail! Makes Brent's exit all the more disappointing and unreal.
