Have any of you guys followed The Elephant Sanctuary stories and website? A number of years ago, the sweetest story appeared on one of the major news networks: the friendship shared by an elephant and a stray dog. It was a truly heart-warming story and updates have been provided by other media networks and in print in the intervening years. Sadly, the poochie half of the friendship recently passed away, but their story continues to warm the heart and shine a light on the wonderful gift of friendship.
