This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. I think I speak for all of admin, when I say thanks for the nice comments.
The goal is for this to be a place you can go without having to worry about your stomach getting tied in a knot (as someone said to me).
People are entitled to their opinions and allowed to express those opinions, but there's a nice way to go about doing that and a not so nice way. The "no jerks" rule doesn't allow for the not so nice way.
