Who's trail breaker

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

For those of you who also have a facebook account, I did post some pics of the elusive trailbreakers as they were preparing the trail this year.
Proud PaPa of the triplet litter; Aidan (B), Bailey (G), and Cameron (B). Cameron is on top in picture; Bailey, of course, is the bowhead!!

This thread is a lot of fun to read, just in case you need something to pass some time in the coming weeks.
I will be on my umpteenth time doing a re-read. :D :D

All Iditabuds need to read or even re-read this thread. Now is a good time to kill time before racing really starts.

Tangles, indeed we are nutso, and we've never tried to hide the entrance to the fun house.

We just plain, know each other, and trust our common denominator over the trail, year after year.

I'm up to page 6 and have already had many laughs. And wonderings where some of our friends have gone... :(

BTW I just want to mention that the Iditabud who started this whole thread is Dude. He was the mod when we used the Cabelas site for our talking. Then Cabela's pulled out and BSSD took over for a few years. After they stopped then JohnCn took over . But this thread is still a fun read.

. Want to give credit where credit is due.
