GOOD MORNING IDITABUDS

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Great story, Fdf. Eggs sounds like a very special dog. Did you happen to see the recent FB video of the dog whose owner asked if he/she knew anything about the two eggs on the counter? As the dog hung its head, one and then another egg slipped out of its mouth. Adorable.

  Great story. I can't imagine the hounds holding anything in their mouths that long, let alone giving it up! Opie actually got an egg yesterday and ate it very daintily, like the old lady she is.

What was so neat to me was each egg had been carefully cracked like it had been rolled on the counter. I know she had to use her teeth.
No telling how long she had been on the road as a stray, so when food made itself available Eggs took advantage.

Good morning, All! Loved the eggs story. After yesterday's discussion, just had to make a blueberry pie! I'll leave a few slices in the Bar and Grill!

Question of the day: Can Pete keep up this speed?
