GOOD MORNING IDITABUDS

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

And I'm in and out of here quickly this morning. Mine is a three-day workweek--not so bad--so will be a morning and evening girl until Thursday. Carry on, Buds. I'll be back for the latest news and updates this evening.

Good morning,

Blizzard here in Unalakleet this morning that was not forecast. It's 0 degrees F, winds at 40 mph (windchill of -30-ish), and visibility about 100 feet in snow and blowing snow.

And, overnight we found the issue with the slower posting and odd double post. It was a new security tool that was hanging up in the background and we've turned it off, so performance should be back to normal.

Regards,

John

Morn' across our great state, nation, and across The Pond to our Scandinavian, English, Dutch, and any euro folks.

-19 Faren. (sorry I don't do centi.) and clear skies here in the Interior Ak (@ 300 miles northeast of Nikolai as you travel up the tributaries of the Kuskokwim R., and curve right along the Alaska Range past that Big Mountain...
