This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

OMG! Is it morning already? I guess when you are up half the night following musher progress, morning does tend to sneak up on you!

Ok, Buds. Morning! I am seriously addicted to Kale Casey's live videos! Watching in the middle of the night as "the chase pack" came into Unalakleet. It was awesome the close ups he got, and the calm interactions with dogs and mushers. I am a bit surprised ITC allowed it, but it is next best thing to being there! (Saw I wasn't the only Bud watching in the middle of the night, too (Libby? Emwcee?)

While the norwegians think it's cool with Dallas leading thh FL (not any more, though), I'm sad to feel that there is a lack of enthusiasm ( to say at least) when Joar is up front. And I'm a witch so I can feel it across the Atlantic
Interesting.

Actually, my SO asked me the other day if it weren't any norwegians in iditarod this year. He found it strange that he didn't see anything about it anywhere....
