Good morning! The first three teams have reached Kaltag some hours ago, and the next will be there in a couple of hours. In Norway Ola Brennodden Sunde is leading Finnmarksløpet, and Dallas is into Levajok as 4. Here in Oslo is "Holmenkollsøndag" (Holmenkollen Sunday) the big happening, with skiing competition and thousands of people watching.

Just had dinner with Dan Wetzel who helped found Yukon Quest. Fascinating man - stories of running dogs in the 1930s . . . Really!

He asked to stay in touch. I asked if it's okay to pass his details to you as a UK musher and he was very pleased for that to happen.

Do you know anything about him?

My run / rest schedule kicking in now. Need a few hours sleep before my next shift in the Comms room at midnight. x
