POT LUCK PARTY IN THE BREAKERS BAR AND GRILL

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Tiramisu? Yes, please. My fave dessert--I mean, my fave breakfast! :D And "an acre of garlic bread...groaning with butter and cheese"? Okay. Twist my arm. 8-)

Look who we found! So much fun meeting FDF and her husband for barbeque! We even left a plate on the stove if anyone wants any! Not the same as Texas 'que, but still delicious. :D

Glad to see another "bud" meetup! I have met you both! So is the Q as good as North Carolina Q?

That meet up of 'buds was fun, as it always is. Looking forward to someday eating Texas b-b-q. Sounds different from Fat Boys and sounds tasty. Brent, NC b-b-q is more vinegary if I remember correctly, both good but different.

Nice to put a face to the mailer of all those patches. Candy and her husband Jim are fun to talk with, our time was way too short.

I'm leaving a bowl of fresh slice Plant City strawberries right over there, whipped cream in snow bank out back and next to to the berries a plate full of biscuits and sponge cakes so you can make your own strawberry shortcakes.

Creeeek! The doors a little stiff these days I see.

Time to open up the cabin again. I’ll give the old place a quick clean, woods all split and stacked for the stove…

Taps unfrozen and running water, i ve put some pizzas in the fridge for folks to cook, some of my friends coffee brand Fire n Flow on the shelf for anyone to make coffee and some snacks and nibbles on the side.

Will light the fire to warm the old place up and straighten everything out and pop the musher roster and route map on the wall.

Catch you all in here soon, just going to check the outhouse for spiders…
