So questions for you to answer for me.
What time is banquet in Nome?
Is it tomorrow, Saturday or is it Sunday.
My rememberer is not working.

OK now that I got to see Matt and Mike into Nome it's time to start the beef stew, hope all y'all like stew, sorry not moose (I could never cook moosie) or elk. It'll be ready for the party tomorrow.

Sounds delicious, unfortunately I can't be there (as always), but I will make sure there are some cloudberry panna cotta at the party!

Also, red lantern, Cindy Abbott, will probably reach Nome in a couple of hours or so.. she will probably arrive more than 24 hour before the banquet starts!

I've tidied up a bit, just to get ready for the party.

In time for the big party, it must be kinda sad to only have a few there for the red lantern banquet and not hear all the stoires from the others who have already headed home.

All righty then friends - I'll make my best effort to join you here and in chat tomorrow - gosh I feel like I've been ghosting y'all - but I'm here-always here- reading and appreciating. A special heartfelt shout out to those of you who Crushed the number, provided updates and play by play, and all those old timers that still make the "trek" every year. Ain"t it grand!
