This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Ready to party! Leaving some breakfast tacos (the ones wrapped in foil) on the stove with a pot of nice strong coffee!

MR since mid-March 22. Thought I had a foul mouth until I heard Gunny - every time a ship gets it.
Mockers' booms - she's one of my favorites and I'm impressed with Tracey's evolution. Kudos to the UKers.
Iditabuds be

Placing some good North Carolina BBQ in the icebox. Enjoy as needed, but leave some for LTL as she needs a followup fix!
Proud PaPa of the triplet litter; Aidan (B), Bailey (G), and Cameron (B). Cameron is on top in picture; Bailey, of course, is the bowhead!!

I left some hot cocoa on the thermos and a bowl with whipped cream. Also some lapskaus (stew) for anyone who needs some warm food.
I noticed one tiny spider, but I moved it outdoors, so it should be safe now!
