POT LUCK PARTY IN THE BREAKERS BAR AND GRILL

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Whoa it is dusty in here! Gonna get it all cleaned up so we can “Get this party started” today. Not too many cobwebs but will clean them up. Somebody loaded plenty of wood outside so I will bring some in and get the fire going. Oh and I will leave plenty of Duck Fart supplies in the cupboard.

You beat me to it! I've got the coffee perking along on the stove-mmmm-smells good. I'm going to put this basket of wild blueberry scones next to it to keep warm. Sit! Stay! The race is about to start!

Here's a couple dozen peanut butter cookies and some hot chocolate, though Anchorage looks warm enough for lemonade today! Looking forward to reports from our SC Bud!

Leaving a hearty pot of lentil soup simmering on the stove. Mmmm....smells good! Nice and warm in here, think I'll put my feet up and sit a spell!
