POT LUCK PARTY IN THE BREAKERS BAR AND GRILL

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Hey all,

Just checking in, make sure the old place is ok as it’s the start of mushing season race wise.

Have given it a sweep, put some fresh fire wood in the basket, no sign of mice or spiders, there is a couple packs a biscuits in the cookie jar and some coffee in the jar ready to make.

Off for a mooch around the dog yard to see if anyone is about.

Tangles xx

Yep, we are around! Glad you checked for SPIDERS, as Moose would not come in if you hadn't. I'm leaving a piece of cake (carrot) just for Em's as I know she likes it. I will chop some wood and be ready for the races. By the way I made comments on photo's in Facebook showing members of the Breakers Gang getting ready for the season.

Much thanks for taking care of the ...shudder...spiders, T! A grateful Moose tips her antlers in your direction. (Does that sound a bit risque'? Nah, not coming from a moose.)

Gotta get your chores down now, Tangles. Pretty soon you won't have time for much else but that new little musher! :D

I think we'd all get along with a Deshka Lake Hammersly.

( ducking to avoid eggs, tomatos or rolls of bathroom tissue ).
