Need Positive Thoughts

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

I hope the not-feeling-so-well pooches are better this evening. Pats to all.

I am pleased to report that after her "mandatory 48" Opie the Dopie dog is back to her usual fireball self. :D :D I let her out a few minutes ago for a potty break and had to catch her and walk her back in-she was running around like a maniac! I'd post a picture of her, but they are all too blurry, she won't stand still. Now, the hard part is going to be keeping her quiet for 4 more days! (she's suppose to 'avoid running and jumping for 6 days') :D :D :D

Good luck, Quadsquad!!!!!

The 4 legged Breeze is half Gordon, half lab, and at 12 has not lost her touch with countersurfing. She HAS quit with the socks, the underwear, with ransacking my purse for interesting odds and ends ( did the peroxide once when some ibuprofen may have been involved), but she still can score off the counter or stovetop in amazing stealth mode. This Thanksgiving it was the ENTIRE turkey carcass ( not a big one, but STILL!!).

I think I have most of my gray hair because of her antics!

Breeze....this is our third Gordon, so we know it's genetic and not some faulty "raisin'" on our part. We buy oven mitts by the gross. Had an Irish that was just as bad years ago, but it's all part of the "fun," isn't it? Isn't it? Say "Hi" from Oklahoma to the Blacks down at the Florist shop if you happen by. That'll keep 'em guessing.

I will give Jette and Janet that message!

ROFLOLOLOL small world indeed. My husband and I worked for Jette and Janet for 4 years, we managed a restaurant that they owned on Main Street. The Blacks are snowbirds-at-will, now, they bought a place in West Palm Beach not too long ago.

What a RIOT, Quadsquad.
