I just checked the forecast for the ending stages of the race and it looks to be smooth treking for all of the mushers.
Should prove to be a fast run to Nome. Who benefits the most? The musher with the freshest team.

uk weather severe storms we are battining down the hatches for 80 mph wind heavy heavy rain and massive waves at the coast, some area predicting 50 foot seas!!! hope it doesnt flood us out again!!! eek! just in time for the end of the race as well!

Pretty damn wild here last night! Trees down left, right and centre...and one of my trailer tents ended up over the fence Think the storm hit Ireland before heading over your way.
