Good night :)

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

...and now, when it actually is quite entertaining to watch the mushers I need to go to bed :(

Our eldest is 10 tomorrow (14th of March) and if anyone wonders, it is 10 years since John Baker won :D

Anyhow, we will have 10 giggling girls from class over (for kids under 13 it's allowed with birthday celebration within their group at school). So I think sleep might be sensible.

Happy birthday wishes to your eldest--who is growing up way too quickly! Have fun at the sleepover, Mira! Why do they call it a sleepover, anyway? No one really sleeps much at all.

Hard to believe it's been 10 years. Happy Bithday Silji (did get spelling correct?)
