Good night :)

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Sleep well, you early-to-bedders. (Early being a relative concept based on location on the face of the Earth.) I'm not far behind you.

Ishtar all, been watching folks arrive in nome on and off all day, so glad so many have finished, some interesting stories coming out, hope that all make it to nome before the banquet. Always think it’s kinda sad or strange, I can’t put my finger on it, that some are on the trail still yet others dogs are already tucked up home back at their kennels.

Night all. Just got home from my monthly bluegrass jam. I just listen, but it warms my soul.
Proud PaPa of the triplet litter; Aidan (B), Bailey (G), and Cameron (B). Cameron is on top in picture; Bailey, of course, is the bowhead!!

sc, that is my favorite type of music. Yes it warms your soul, what a good description.
Nite all, see you in the morning.
The WM cam has been watching teams come in and get dogs settled and one team heading out to Nome.
Interesting.
