Once they leave White Mountain, how long does it usually take for them to get to Nome?

It's 77 miles so depends on their speed...you would have to see their speed then figure out the rest.....hope that helps some

According to race stats from 2007 and 2006 Cim Smyth, who usually delivers a fast time on this homerun to Nome used 8:50 in 2007 and 7:50 in 2006. In 2006, Jeff used 10:30 and Lance 10:25.
It looks like we will have reall race on our hands from WM to Nome and I would think that both mushers will try their best to winn. Depending on the trail conditions, my guess would be that they use anywhere between 7-10 hr.

Lance is almost in the checkpoint now and the time is approx 9am. 9am + 8hr +9hr would give a finishtime around 2 am tomorrow AK time.

Puuh.... this was hard work for a slightly sleep deprivated brain. Can anyone confirm that my math is correct or not.
