Aren, My husband's mother was of Swedish stock, although a couple of generations separated from Sweden. T'was SHE that introduced me to Aquavit the first Jüle I attended in her home.

Aquavit and Glögg........... yes truly brings color to the face! i think SHE decided I was to be her daughter-in-law a few hours before her son.

AnnaJean was a tiny, fierce, fun-loving woman who left us way before she should have, but she did teach me to celebrate Jüle ( and respect Aquavit!)
