Pics from the Burled ARch!

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Frozen and GK,

Great pics! Thanks....and we're counting on some of your contributed shots of finishers over the next few days. Please post any or all you would care to, as that is EXACTLY what this community is for..user-generated participation, and sharing.

Gatekeeper: We were unable to make the audio interview with you usable, and since you were not able to get to Unalakleet this year, you'll have to come up for 2009 for another SBT sit down ;-)

Frozen: If you would like to be on the stream for a guest appearance tomorrow, please get ahold of Chick Beckley at the GCI offices on Front Street. You could talk about what it's like to be a fan in the Internet age :P

BTW: Depending on the timing of the finish, it could be some exciting streaming tomorrow.

Regards,

Johncn

Note: this spot has been moderator edited and should display the image without the music. Each time it is updated it will need refreshed, though.
