ADN Earthquakes' Effect on Trails

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. If you're on FB, you might have seen Karin Hendrickson's mention of being caught on the Yentna River during the recent Northern Lights 300 race. Scary stuff. Here's an ADN article detailing her story and those of several other mushers.
