been wondering- if there hasn't been enough snow/too warm for so many years, why not just have the race a few weeks earlier in the year?

I did a little calculating...
and if the tracker is simi accurate...they are traveling close to the same speed.
I have lance at 7.4 average and Jeff at 7.2...
