This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Nay, be a Columbus to whole new continents and worlds within you, opening new channels, not of trade, but of thought.

I missed the finish. I missed Jeff coming in. Insider is off. To quote sir Paul McCartney: "I'm down (I'm really down). I'm down (Down on the ground). I'm down (He's really down). How can you laugh, when you know I'm down (How can you laugh when you now I'm down)?.
Will II put the whole finish on Insider? Or just the 2min vids? Good thing Kjetil didnt win, I'd have to go AWOL and my students would trash the classroom...

To quote Martin B.: It's not chance, it's Lance! And he's done it again. Amazing. Heck, it was amazing the first time he won the Iditaquest. I don't know what to call it a second time.
Waay to go!!

Oh, well. It'll have to do. But I mean, seriously, wouldnt you wanna have more than a couple of hours of show when they have been mushing for 10 days? And why not live finish of the top 10. 4-10place will be a close race!!
