Iditarider Information

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Good for you Sassybreck. Who's sled(s) will you be riding in? We will all watch for you on TV from the start parade. and we will be watching for your "first person" report (with pictures) after you get back home.

Hi there! I'm riding with Robert Redington. I'm very excited!!!! I'm going to the musher banquet too. I extended the trip since they moved the official start to Fairbanks....soooo, I'm going to Fairbanks as well as Anchorage. I'll definitely post photos. (I say that like I know how to do it, lol, I guess I'll figure it out when I get back, lol) :D
