2017

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Talk about late! I rarely come here except during race season now.....tend to follow a lot of you on FB. Happy New Year and Happy Distance Race Season to all!
Now to figure out that TFP for the Quest! I am jonesing for that feeling of exuberance Val and I had last year this time at the start banquet last night, and preparing for the start tomorrow! I am so greatful for that opportunity, but look forward to following it here this year.

Dog Dude, hope you join us for some of it!
