Yukon Quest TFP 2017, winners announced

Racing season is here!

The 2017 Yukon Quest is just around the corner starting February 04, 2017 in Whitehorse.

The winner will receive fame and glory!

We will use the same scoring as the past years:
1 point for each Top 5 Pick, and points for each correct position: 5pts for 1st, 4pts for 2nd, 3pts for 3rd, 2pts for 4th and 1pt for 5th.
Please include Rookie of the Year (ROTY), no points are given but it will be used as a tie-breaker if needed.

If you change your mind you can change your picks until the thread are locked for writing. The thread will be locked at the start of the race. If you do want to change your picks, please change your original post and not adding new posts.

Howdy, All--Well, I have absolutely no illusions of winning this contest; but I wanted to weigh in to say:

I will not be watching the Iditarod this year--the Yukon Quest will receive my attention in its place. The Iditarod has just caused too much frustration for me with their exclusive Pay-For-Everything insider nonsense. If they don't want any fans--I'll give them what they want. My old friend Rick Swenson isn't racing any more anyway. For me, THE QUEST IS THE BEST.
