Yukon Quest Thread

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Erin McLarnon is who you are thinking of FDF. She was great, but I don't think they liked the fact that she took "communication director" to mean she actually communicated with fans.

I'm getting concerned for Ed Hopkins and his team. He appears to be stuck on the peak of Eagle Summit. Luckily Paige is 5 miles from him and moving like a champ, so hopefully she can help him out.

Yea, I just saw that. Now Paige is stopped, too. Looks like maybe she backtracked to Ed? I'm guessing they are trying to lead the dogs over. :?

I'll look forward to reading about it, too. It might have secured Paige the sportsmanship award.
