2017 Fantasy Iditarod

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Fairbanks
Michelle Phillips 0 7 0.00 165
Dallas Seavey 0 16 0.00 156
Nicolas Petit 0 20 0.00 150
Wade Marrs 0 27 0.00 145
Jessie Royer 0 35 0.00 137
John Baker 0 63 0.00 109
Trent Herbst 0 65 0.00 107

I fired off your question to the Fantasy Mushing admin, and this is their reply:

"Thanks for finding this. I looked back in our old spreadsheets and the starting place did not receive points. I will correct this and remove all the points for Fairbanks. Should be done some time today."

While our straightforward "Top 10" contest is my favorite, this thing is pretty darned fun as well! 1500 or so entered, that's pretty cool.
