Maybe it's just me who hasn't payed attention (probably, I'm seem to be quite busy these days), but I see Brent Sass has withdrawn from Iditarod? Ed Stielstra as well.
72 mushers are on the starting list.

I guess I'm not surprised about Brent. He's got big worries about his dogs.
And he sure has taken a lot of flack from other mushers and fans. I hope he'll rebound.

Yes, indeed. I looked at his facebook page (Wild&Free) and it looked like he has shut down his ordinary page due to not-so-good-comments.
I really hope he figures ut out and that he will come back, stronger than ever. I couldn't find a notice about it, but perhaps they just don't want to make much fuzz.. That's understandable.
I have tried to update some of the links on the top of the forum.. I will try to look a bit more on them, removing dead links, adding new links where I found them.

Shortly after the YQ he announced he was shutting down his fb page. That was before the Craig Medred article and the Sabastian post so hopefully he didn't see too many of the ugly things that were said about him.
