This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

http://www.andvsa.org/lead-on-aliy/Aliy teamed up with an organization working to end domestic violence in Alaska, especially in the native villages. They have a map of the Iditarod with all of this year's checkpoints and are encouraging people to take selfies with Aliy at each one - they will post the best on that above page - should be fun - hope it doesn't cost Aliy too much checkpoint time!
Great way for Aliy to turn her terrible experience into something positive!
