This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Well, it's possible it's #5, not 4. I'm not convinced there isn't another team under the finish line as the team you can see well is approaching the line. What do you think?

I think you're right...I saw what I thought was Ken's team come in, then had a couple of work e-mails to push out, then checked again and it looked like 2 teams under the arch...so maybe that musher in the turqouise jacket was Martin and he joined Ken under the arch....

I say it early this morning. ADN had a report on it too (the press release). Nothing more than that. I feel awful for Ed, just awful. Such a great guy.

New snap from Nome definitely shows another team in front of the group around the finish line.

ITC has posted Ramey as #3, so at least that's official. Nothing on #4 or #5 yet.

Man, you guys took me from a high when you reported Martin first
to a low when it was finally reported that Ken beat him in.
Congratulations to Ken anyway. He ran a great race.
We'll catch you next year.
Go team Buser!!!
When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
