He is running now, he rested five-six hours and a sloow start it seems, but looks good now.

Dallas and Mitch both seem to be running with the leading pack, while resting 3 or 4 or 5 dogs at a time as they run. The Seavey sled "secret" appears to be working on the river and could pay dividends from Kaltag to Nome. I wonder how much of the sled can be removed after they reach the coast, drop the slower dogs and start "racing" to the finish.

I also wonder how expensive the new sleds are

I read somewhere that Dallas' new sled cost around $10,000. Don't know if that is accurate or not, but wouldn't surprise me.
