I think you are right:) It's was really really cold. Hmmm, didn't check the stat sheet for that....well, from what you have transcribed, and thank you from my heart for that, and other info I have gleaned, that trail into Manley was cold and most ran pretty much straight through...so dropping dogs sounds like it may be strategy for the river? More snow? Colder, need more control, ect ect? Maybe? It's hard to tell on newer trails. Hoping that helps even things out a bit, but doubt it

Catching up on videos. Coming into Manley I was interested to see Nicks dogs after that monster run of his. They looked pretty good. They were on their feet barking to go at the check in. After running about 120 miles with little rest he rested 4.5 hours about 30 miles outside of Manley. It seems that despite the huge distance he ran the dogs recovered nicely with that rest.
