Martin finally got rid of that nasty blue parka

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Martin finally got rid of that nasty blue parka

He is looking quite spiffy with his new orange and black color scheme. He picked a nice bright color that will make him instantly reconizable. I bet Cathy had to sneak and burn that old, stained blue thing when he wasn't looking.

Yep mamamia, that got a laugh out of me.
I've been traveling and while on the road, that blue parka popped into my head. Not sure why... who knows what road trips will do to a person. I've not given up hope he'll yank that sucker out of his bag before he's done. It must be made of steel.

Unless he decided it isn't the good luck charm he always thought it was.

Always wondered why they used white windbreakers, you'd though a colour would be better, u less NO only make them in white?

That's why I like Dee Dee's and Monica's outfits.

You can tell who they are from a distance and should help find them if ever needed in all the whiteness.

I wondered the same, hoped you had some insights in this :)

It's look like a camoflage dress for hunters. I think Ralph has been using something similar as well..

I remember Charlie Bolding's very old, very dirty yellow coat. He easily out-scrunged everybody!
