Group hug for Moose (Cathleen Griffin)

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Group hug for Moose (Cathleen Griffin)

For those not on Facebook I am sharing the following very sad news from Cathleen Griffin aka Moose:

Very sad news from Mooselook. Conrad--my husband, best friend, and life's partner--slipped away to the other side yesterday afternoon. His death was not unexpected, but the pain of the loss leaves me without words to describe the life lived by (and with) this crazy and adventurous guy. His sister Frankie and BFF Tommy Tetlow are here. Together, through laughter and tears, we'll write a fitting memorial. I just wanted to let friends know of his passing in the meantime.

So glad I got to meet Conrad aka Bullwinkle he was a really nice person.
All my children have four feet and fur.
