FANTASY MUSHING YUKON QUEST 2018

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. This is best I've ever done.
12 in the pack and 58 in the all.
That's if I remembered correctly ;)

It ain't over yet -- some of our pack still have mushers on the course (Rob Cooke and Dave Dalton and maybe others) who will gather in some points when they reach Whitehorse, and points will be awarded at the banquet for "award" winners.

Overall, our pack, Iditabuds.com, has made an amazing showing in Fantasy Mushing!

:D I already looked at the Iditarod musher list. Have picked 6 and am $2,500 over the $27,000 limit
Guess I'll need to drop 1 or 2 expensive and pick up lower cost ones. 8-)

Well race is over and I guess these scores are final.
So in our pack I'm 22 and in the whole list I'm 105

It was fun to be in the top 20 for a little while ;)

FINAL RESULTS

I'm not sure who Little Chena is, but congratulations for finishing first in our pack (and 4th overall) and to our second-place finisher, StarDancer (5th overall)! 8-)

Nice showing, "pack"!

[Sorry for my name being highlighted in yellow, but there's no way to avoid that since your name is highlighted when you sign in.]

Boy Heidi, you and moose are right together in this one too.

I also wonder to whom the unfamiliar names belong. Is there any way to invite then to join us here?

I checked our Member List here in the forum and see that Little Chena already joined us (the beginning of February). Not sure about the others. Maybe add an invite in the Fantasy threads in our fb group??

I swear I didn't scope out your picks, Heidi, when making my own. Must be a "great minds. . ." kinda thing!
