Norwegian races, Finnmarksløpet

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

From Finnmarksløpet's Facebook Page:

"Sadly, an error lead to an interruption in our live transfer of the start show for mushers #33 to #38. All missing footage will be posted here as soon as it is available!"

Thanks ikh, you talk about a bunch of disappointed Iditabuds in the chat room, the race was one number away from Dallas and went blank for all of us, even in Norway. Thanks for the link to see what we missed ikh.

Well that was a fun watch. Hard to get a clean shot but we know he's there: ) I think this was a really good move on his part.

Will he be allowed to use his dog carrying sled?

I don't know what that means - the weasel comment.

Femundløpet 2015 was hit by a snowstorm, and 4 young mushers were stuck du to weather conditions. Hanna was found by the snowmobile after 12 hours. She wanted to continue when they found her, but she was not allowed. The race was cancelled. From Google translate:
