Norwegian races, Finnmarksløpet

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Those youngsters had learned what to do in that situation and did it, good for them, smarter than some of the 'adults'.
\Hanna is , at this moment, in 27th place after starting #37.

I like Finnmarkslopet's list of where the teams are placed. Dallas is in 18th.

Yesterday, in chat, I tried to see the trackers for this race. Got the map but no luck on seeing where the teams were. This morning got the bright idea to try the lap top, it worked!! Must some setting on the this computer that prevents the spots from showing. Thanks for all the help yesterday chatters.

Thanks for the video, ikh. Made me chuckle. :)

Be sure to follow Finnmarkslopet on Facebook, and also Christian Turner for the latest news on Dallas.

If you're new to this thread, I suggest you go back and read from page 1 to learn more about the Finnmarkslopet from Mira, Alphashe and ikh (and possibly others). They'll answer any questions we may have. (Takk venner! 8-) )
