I've seen lots of animals, including a huge/massive black wolf , but having this one walk across the road in front of me was a real joy.
I've seen larger ones at work (I worked in an oilfield out in the wilderness), but didn't have a cell phone or camera with me.

No photo. It was the middle of the night. But a large (according to a neighbor who has seen him) black bear visited our second story deck a year ago. We were in bed when Amigo, our little Chihuahua, jumped up and ran through the house, screaming like a banshee. Though they never came face to face, thankfully, the little guy scared the bear off the deck, but not before he destroyed one suet feeder. He made off with the other.

I'm late to the party (as usual) but glad to see everyone gathered around the forum fires! Been getting a lot of snow the last two weeks here in north central MN, so not as much time to spend on here as I'd like, mostly just pushing snow into big piles Lots to read and catch up on. Welcome to the 1st time posters, glad you introduced yourselves & sure enjoying the pics!
