I Image Dee Dee. The race will not be the same without her cheery presence. Sad to see the favorites retire. :(

I found some internet in Kaltag and give a quick update. It was very difficult to scratch as I know it was letting my support and fans down. It was the right thing to do for my dogs. One of the toughest bugs that I seen. They were given two different antibiotics and probiotics and things never improved. On my 24 hour rest someone accidentally put diesel fuel in the dog pot that all the mushers got their water to feed. There was two mushers who fed that contaminated water to their teams and I was one of them. You could smell the diesel in my teams dog bowls. It was gut wrenching and I was so very mad. It was quickly discovered and they quickly fixed the situation for all the mushers. They started to feel better and eating ok again before we left on the 24 hour rest.

Right now my team is feeling better. Thanks again and we will be back to race again.
