Joar has left Anvik, Nicolas has just arrived in Grayling. It doesn't make sense for Nicolas to take 24 in Grayling, so Kaltag perhaps.

Mitch and Peter is just on the other side of yukon river from Anvik, Jessie is in Anvik, not sure if she stays or not.

..at the livestream it looked like Nicolas went through Grayling and carried on, but I didn't have sound so I'm not sure. Waiting for either GPS or standings to update and confirm.

Edit: nope, he is staying. but for how long?

Nicolas tracker is still green but he is resting.

Aliy rested 2.5 hours in Shageluk and left in sixth position. Currently, no mushers in Anvik, Jessie, Peter, Mitch all went through.

Who will be the rabbit up Yukon?

None of the four teams coming into Grayling did rest in Anvik so I guess they take a couple of hours in Grayling. Joar must be in by now and Jessie, Peter and Mitch are following.

Anvik - Grayling: Nic 2.50 - Joar 2.15. I guess that says all about the challenge of braking trail up Yukon.

The Insider has reported that planes have not gotten into Eagle Isld to deliver drop bags (food), because of weather. It looks like low clouds and fog. They are still hoping to beat the teams to Eagle Isld. This, with the warm trail conditions may cause several mushers to take rest in Grayling hoping to confirm delivery or haul additional dog food. Nic has declared his 8.

The chase pack may be happy to let Joar and Nic break trail and lay down a track to Kaltag and even Unalakleet, then five or even six teams can race to Nome. After her 24 hour rest in Iditarod Aliy's team seems to be fastest right now. Her strategy may get her back into the chase pack.

Agree about Aliy TX, she's 10 miles from grayling with a fast rested team. Very close race at this point.
