See video at Pete Kaiser’s website (or Facebook page). Very worried about Nic. :(

Looked at the weather, it's 10 knots from north. Temperature is around freezing and perhaps a bit of light snow (not sure about that).
Peter is three miles behind Nicolas.

This is strange... I sense a shut down of the team:(. Petit is now moving ever so slowly again, but only at walking speed.

Nicolas is green again, speed = 0.5mph. But Joar is quite close so perhaps he will be ready when Joar passes.

Look very much like a shut down (or parking in norwegian :) ). Nicolas is blipping between orange and green, his speed varies between 1.2 mph and 0.3mph. Joar is passing him now.

Is there a cabin close to where Nic is slowly moving?
All my children have four feet and fur.

Yes, on the small strip of land he is about to cross there is a small shelter cabin.

Thanks guys. I saw Danny Seavey's post in Alaska Mushing News (on fb) and got freaked out, mainly because HE seemed pretty concerned. Then I watched the video and thought it was strange how the team was moving at a nice clip and then basically stopped. A few short blips but then nothing. Some people thought he might've encountered water. Danny was perplexed, Hans G and Susan were perplexed...but I understand someone got a visual on him and he's "okay" (whatever that means). This was confirmed by Sebastian.

I appreciate any word on his movement. I only have video, not GPS.

Too much excitement this early in the morning. Having my coffee and in a little bit I'm off to the city (3 hr drive). Ugh. My timing is terrible. :(

Nicolas is on the spit of land, where there has been some kind of shelter earlier. He is doing 3mph. I guess he will stop at the shelter.
